Details
A charming lithograph (ca. 1890) by the French artist, Paul Grolleron (1848-1901) and commissioned by the Philippe Heller company in Montreuil (a Paris suburb). The company was specialized in the production of inks for the printing industry. The lithograph, named “Le droit de passage” (right of way) depicts a young lady whose access to the other side of the stream is blocked by a dashing hussar expecting his “droit de passage”!
