More Views

Poster commissioned (ca.1960) by the Loterie Nationale (French national lottery) created in 1933. A whimsical poster by Grove, where the young French sailor (note the pompom hat) lost at sea and stranded on a deserted island still manages to keep faith. He has managed to hang on to his treasured National Lottery ticket. As the caption tells us: "Nothing is lost!".
