Poster realized in Italy 1914 by Giovanni Greppi in connection with a "Loan for Victory" petition, prior to the start of the First World War. This ink on paper poster depicts a large crowd of workmen gathered in front of a backdrop of industrial buildings and chimneys; a soldier in the foreground directs a small group of men to read the poster as other laborers are reading the poster nailed to the fence in the background. The caption in the foreground (Comitato Lombardo di Mobiltazione Industriale) translates as Lombardian Comittee of Industrial Mobilization.
