Original Vintage Loterie National Poster by Grove 1958

More Views

A charming poster commissioned by the Loterie Nationale (French National Lottery) created in 1933 and realized by Grove ca. 1970. This drawing is part of the “Lucky Melodies” series and its caption refers to a familiar French nursery rhyme, somehow revised: “Mommy, do these numbers for the Big Prize stand any chance (to be drawn)? Of course, my silly goose! If they didn’t we wouldn’t pick them!”
