A whimsical poster, realized by Oge ca. 1900, to advertise the remedy "Purgatif Geraudel". A doctor with a huge syringe is dismissed by a funny patient who holds a box of that remedy. This poster is featured in the book "Eugène Ogé Affichiste" (1998) on p. 153. Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne. He also made a large number of commercial posters for products. (Wiki)
