A very charming poster, realized by Oge ca. 1907, to advertise the laxative "Laxadepurine". A voluptuous woman that presents great vitality is offering a glass of Laxadepurine to a gentleman. This poster is featured in the book "Eugène Ogé Affichiste" (1998) on p. 153. Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne. He also made a large number of commercial posters for products. (Wiki)
