The Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC) is a French banking network created in 1859 and divided into 6 banks in regional France and abroad (Luxembourg). The CIC is traded, it holds 2,064 branches spread throughout the country and employs over 21,000 employees. It also owns 95% of the mobile virtual network NRJ Mobile . In 1998 , the acquisition of 68% of its shares by the Federal Mutual Credit Bank for 2.04 billion euros spawned the group Crédit Mutuel-CIC (CM-CIC). Raymond Savignac, often just abbreviated to "Savignac", was a French graphic artist famous for his commercial posters. He was born on November 6, 1907 in Paris, and died on October 31, 2002 in Trouville-sur-Mer (Calvados), aged 94. His work is distinguished by a humorous simplicity.
