A whimsical poster realized by Hervé Morvan (1917 - 1980), a French poster designer whose iconic advertisement remains the stylised version of the Senegalese infantryman for the Banania chocolate brand. This poster was realized ca. 1950 for Chocolat Pupier a brand created in the 1860s. The company’s most strict and absolute rule is: “no discussion concerning quality” and to “do everything to please the French consumer’s refined taste”!
