A quaint poster (1932) by the noted Swiss painter and poster artist Otto Baumberger (1889 -1961). During his prolific career Baumberger produced some 200 posters of great quality and style. His realistic rendering of a herringbone tweed coat became a classic of Swiss poster art. Davos is located on the Landwasser River, in the Swiss Alps. At 1,560 m (5,120 ft), it is the highest city in Europe. Davos is host to the World Economic Forum (WEF), an annual meeting of global political and business elites (often referred to simply as Davos) and the home of one of Switzerland's biggest ski resorts.
