"Une Femme Dans La Nuit" (A woman in the night) is a French film directed by Edmond T. Greville and released in 1943. A theater company plays on tour Manon Lescaut , starring Denise , whose husband is ill and an alcoholic. Tired of his fits of violence, and wanting to start a new life , she runs away and finds refuge with a doctor who was hired as a nurse in his clinic.
