It features a highly skilled painting of what seems as a bank robbery, that stretches on almost the entire poster. Le Petit Journal (French; "The Little Newspaper") was a daily Parisian newspaper published from 1863 to 1944. It was founded by Moïse Polydore Millaud. The complete collection represents 550,000 printed pages, equivalent to 2'000'000 articles. The first issue of the Gazette de Lausanne, founded by Gabriel-Antoine Miéville, is dated February 1st 1798. The title « Gazette de Lausanne » was first used in 1803, and was preceded by « Peuple Vaudois », « Bulletin Officiel », « Bulletin Helvétique », « Journal Suisse » and « Journal Helvétique ».
