A beautiful poster, realized by Oge ca. 1900, to advertise essence perfume "Securitine" which according to the slogan is inflammable. A pierrot clown is depicted here sitting in his room which is lit by a single candle and smoking a pipe. Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne. He also made a large number of commercial posters for products. (Wiki)
