A whimsical poster, realized by Oge ca. 1900, to advertise the liquor brand "Quinquina Royal". Those 2 burglers depicted here didn't really expect to find that bottle when they broke into the safe, but that's a real treasure! This poster is featured in the book "Eugène Ogé Affichiste" (1998) on p. 103. Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne. He also made a large number of commercial posters for products. (Wiki)
