A beautiful poster commissioned at the turn of the century by the Lorenzy-Palanca perfumery in Marseilles, France. Although the business primarily sold soaps, around the turn of the century, they also sold perfumes, razors, toiletries and cosmetics with beautiful paper graphics and stunning label designs. This poster, used as an advertisement for the “Flowers from the Bosphorus” is typical of the Belle Epoque.
