A beautiful colorist painting that was realized by the NY-based Russian artist Rykov ca. 1999. In his unmistakable signature style, a very dense Russian village is depicted here. Each house has its own colors, roofing tiles colors, and shape, that turn the painting into a mosaic of marvelous colors. In the horizon there is a new building that was built on top of a worn down building - symbolizing the revival of the small village.
